There is no excuse for having a dirty bathroom and not doing anything about it. Not even lack of time is a good enough reason because keeping your bathroom clean doesn’t take up much time if you maintain cleanliness on a daily basis.
The fact is, bathrooms get soiled rather quickly, making them tougher to clean. At this stage, no one wants to step up and clean a filthy bathroom so it’s left as is until someone gives in! Well, a dirty bathroom can be a thing of the past if you follow these quick, simple bathroom cleaning tips from Think Maids on a daily basis. Check them out below!
Spritz and Wipe Your Sink
Your sink is prone to soap scum, grease and grime; hence, we suggest sanitizing bathroom sinks daily. It’s quick and easy; all you need to do is pour your chosen disinfectant into a spray bottle and have a sponge or scrubber nearby. To clean, simply spritz your sink and wipe it down before rinsing the interiors with water. Keep your spray bottle and scrubber in a tray and place them on top of your medicine cabinet for quick access.
Pour Acid-Based Cleaner in Your Toilet Bow
Cleaning your toilet could not be easier than the method we’re about to share with you. Best of all, it’s highly efficient too! For this, you will need an active, acid-based cleaner and perhaps, no scrubbing/brushing time at all! Simply pour about half a cup of the cleaner around the interiors and base of the bowl and leave it overnight. Do not use the toilet while the cleaner is ON IT. During the night, the acid will eat into stains and discoloration, leaving little or nothing left to brush away! If you do, however, find any leftover stains in the morning, you will only need a minimal amount of scrubbing time and energy to remove them before flushing the toilet to rinse the bowl out.
Spot Clean Floors
This, of course, is a daily cleaning tip as bathroom floors that haven’t been cleaned in a while will need more intense cleaning. Once you’ve got a clean bathroom, you can maintain it by spot cleaning on a daily basis, while a deeper clean may be in order once a week or as and when needed. To spot clean efficiently, make a solution of floor cleaner and water and pour it into a squeezy bottle. Use this to squirt stains and remove them with a long-handled bathroom brush. If you find that dirt has been smeared around the floors, rinse off the brushed area and squeegee the water into the drain.
Clean and Sanitize Bathroom Fixtures
A homemade cleaning solution in the form of 1 tablespoon baking soda, mixed in a cup of white vinegar is perfect for cleaning and sanitizing stainless steel fixtures. Dip a sponge in this solution and scrub your bathroom fixtures thoroughly before pouring mugs of water to rinse them off. If you don’t want to do this on a daily basis, twice or thrice a week is advisable.
